Now in its 17th edition, our Power 150 list returns as the industry’s definitive ranking of the most influential leaders shaping the built environment.

13 July 2026

The Middle East construction industry is entering a defining chapter. From giga-projects and next-generation cities to major infrastructure, industrial, energy, and hospitality developments, the region continues to reshape skylines and economies at an unprecedented pace.

Behind these ambitious projects are the leaders responsible for turning vision into reality. They are the decision-makers navigating market uncertainty, embracing new technologies, and setting the direction for some of the largest construction programmes in the world.

Now in its 17th edition, our Power 150 list returns as the industry’s definitive ranking of the most influential leaders shaping the built environment. This year’s list recognises executives across seven key categories: Developers, Contractors, Consultants, Specialist Contractors, Architects & Designers, Legal Consultants, and Proptech Players.

How We Ranked Them

To compile the list, our editorial team conducted extensive research and invited leading organisations across the region to participate through a detailed submission process.

Rankings were assessed based on a combination of factors, including:

  • Value and significance of projects delivered or secured in the past 12 months
  • Company revenue and growth trajectory
  • Project backlog and market position
  • Innovation, digital transformation, and operational excellence
  • ESG, CSR, and workforce development initiatives
  • Industry reputation, leadership influence, and overall impact on the regional construction sector
  • The result is a comprehensive snapshot of the individuals helping shape the future of construction across the Middle East.

Note: Companies and individuals who chose not to participate were not considered for inclusion in the 2026 ranking
