Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and mobile devices.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and operating system issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems and business applications.
  • Set up and configure new computers, user accounts, email accounts, and peripheral devices.
  • Install and troubleshoot printers, scanners, and other office equipment.
  • Join computers to the domain and configure shared folders, network drives, and printer access.
  • Assist users with password resets, account unlocks, and Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Troubleshoot basic LAN, Wi-Fi, internet, and VPN connectivity issues.
  • Escalate complex hardware, software, and network issues to senior IT engineers.
  • Perform routine system updates, antivirus installation, and security patching.
  • Support IT asset inventory, including maintaining records of laptops, desktops, monitors, and accessories.
  • Create and update support tickets, document troubleshooting steps, and maintain technical documentation.
  • Assist in hardware replacement, software deployment, and office IT setup activities.
  • Follow IT policies, security standards, and helpdesk procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with end users.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 0–2 years of experience in desktop support or IT helpdesk (fresh graduates with relevant internships are welcome to apply).
  • Basic knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and computer hardware.
  • Familiarity with printers, scanners, networking fundamentals, and remote support tools.
  • Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting.
  • Basic knowledge of IT security practices, antivirus software, and endpoint protection.
  • Microsoft certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365 Fundamentals or Modern Desktop Administrator) are an advantage.
